Ingredients:
Cooked Dal - 2 tea cups
Sambhar Powder - 2 heaped tsp
Tamarind - 2 heaped tsp
Haldi
Salt to taste
Large Onion - 1
tomato - 1 to 3
Oil - 2 tsp
For seasoning -
Red Chilli
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
Hing
Procedure:
Heat oil, add red chilli and mustard. After mustard splits add hing, curry leaves, and then add chopped onion pieces and also tomato cut finely. Fry a bit and add water to cook it. After onions are cooked, add dal, salt, haldi, sambhar powder, and tamarind. Adjust water for consistency. Simmer for 5-10 mins and serve with love : )
